Children’s Ministry of Maple Avenue Ministries focus is encourage kids to emphasize the one most important thing in life: a growing relationship with Jesus!

Mission Statement:

• …Centered in Christ: “He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together He is the head of the body, the church. (Colossians1:17,18).
• …Called to the core city: “The spirit of the Lord God is upon us, because the Lord has anointed us; he has sent us to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the broken hearted. They shall build up the ancient ruins, they shall raise up the former devastation’s; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastation’s of many generations.” (Isaiah 61:1,4).
• …Committed to becoming a multi-cultural community of reconciliation. “For he (Christ) is our peace; in his flesh he has broken down the dividing wall, that is the hostility between us… and might reconcile both groups to God in one body through the cross, thus putting to death that hostility trough it.” (Ephesians 2:14,16).

At Maple Ave Kids will :

• Experience God in a meaningful way with exciting curriculum and dedicated teachers and caregivers.
• Experience life-change into their daily life remembering Bible truths.
• Build a forever relationship with Jesus.
• Build an awesome relationship with each other.

Children’s Ministry Activities and weekly schedule:

• Sunday 9:00 – SonRise Café: a delicious free breakfast prepared every Sunday morning for you and your family.
• Sunday 9:30 – Sunday school for all ages. After breakfast everyone is invited to go to their own classes and experience “Hands on Bible”!
• Sunday 10:30 – Children’s Church for PK – 5th grade. Kids will worship Jesus by singing, praying, doing crafts, eating snacks and experiencing God’s story in a fun way.

• Children’s choir: We practice during Children’s Church and we perform once a month. Anyone is welcome to participate!

Others Activities

• Puppet Show: We have a group of 10 puppeteers, which perform every other month in the Worship service at 10:30.

Special Events

• May 21st: A musical performed by our Children’s choir: “Promises, Promises” which the kids are working really hard and learning that God always keep His promises.
• July 24th to 28th: Vacation Bible School on Summer 2006 – “Son Treasure Island”
  Where Kids discover God’s love. 1Corinthians 13.
• Summer Camp: June 19th to 26th at” Tall Turf Camp” for kids of age 8 to 13 only. Kids will have an awesome time learning more about God and spending time to each other having a blast.
